About Karen Noble

Karen's journey in golf began at an early age. Growing up in Brookside, New Jersey,  Karen grew up in a family of talented golfers. Karen's mother, "Rie", was a NJ State Amateur champion and her first coach and playing partner. As her passion and talent became evident, she became a student of renowned golf instructor David Glenz.

She attended Wake Forest University where she walked on the team as a freshmen. From walk on, she became a four year starter and was named Most Outstanding Female Athlete in 1989.  She had a standout Amateur career, being runner up in the USGA Women's Amateur in 1988. She was also a member of the victorious USGA Curtis Cup team and the World Cup team in 1990.

She qualified for the LPGA tour on her first attempt and played on the tour from 1992-1999. Her best finish was a tie for 2nd in the 1992 LPGA Championship, shooting a 65 in the final round. After her retirement from the LPGA tour, she was hired by then Head Professional, Michael Breed, at Sunningdale Country Club in Scarsdale, NY, where she was his teaching assistant for seven years. Michael's mentoring and guidance helped Karen establish her next goal - sharing her knowledge and passion for the game of golf to players of all ages and skill levels. Karen gets as much joy in helping a rank beginner as she did being the assistant golf coach for Columbia University, a title she held for three years.

After Sunningdale, Karen moved back to New Jersey to raise her family. She was hired as a Teaching Professional at Hamilton Farm Golf Club where she worked alongside Top 100 instructor Mike Adams. Since 2010, she has been the Director of Instruction at Fairmount Country Club in Chatham, NJ.  During the past six years, she has been instrumental in growing an active instructional program involving juniors, women, and men.

Karen's fervent desire to help golfers of all ages has lead her to constantly study, learn, and attend educational seminars so that she can bring the latest and greatest teaching methods and technology to her students. Karen has been trained in Trackman, Operation 36 (Specializing on Juniors), TPI, highly adept at video analysis using Hudl Technique, and is a member of the LPGA Teaching and Coaching Division.

When Karen is not teaching or playing golf with her students, she is enjoying raising her two daughters, Sydney and Nicky, with her husband Roger.

Karen is available for individual, small group clinics, and corporate events and excited to help you with your golf games!
